My New Son Keir Thomas
Colleen, Wynter and I couldn’t be happier to announce the birth of our little boy Keir Thomas Nash. I really don’t how to describe the feelings and range of emotions I’ve been going through the last few days except that I couldn’t feel any happier or luckier than I do right now. We have been so very fortunate to have such an incredible and fun little girl, she’s my best friend and my biggest fan and the thought of having one more bundle of joy to share our home with, our trips with and our lives with, I really couldn’t imagine being any luckier.
I really have to say that I have the most amazing wife and I hope all men feel that way about their wives but it’s true. The ability to carry a baby for so many months and the labour alone truly sets you apart from men. Colleen, you are strong and beautiful woman and you make me so proud. Thank you for this wonderful family and I promise to do my very best to make you proud of me. I promise to be the best dad and husband.
Keir Thomas Nash
Keir is an Irish name and Thomas is a tribute to my late grandfather Melvin Thomas Nash. Grandpa Mel was a train operater for the CN railway and I miss him dearly. Every time I see a train I think of him and knowing that my son carries his name will always keep him near to us.
